The church library is a ministry. Our purpose is to provide quality resources to members of Fairview to enable people to find and love Jesus, witness to others and make disciples.
Our library contains over 8,000 books, including Christian living, reference, biographies, children’s and Christian fiction books. Some of our non-fiction authors are Henry Blackaby, James Dobson, David Jeremiah, Max Lucado, Josh McDowell, Charles Stanley and Charles Swindoll Our fiction collection includes Karen Kingsbury, Tracie Peterson, Dee Henderson, Lauraine Snelling, James Scott Bell, Dan Walsh and Robert Whitlow.
The library has an open-door policy. You are always welcome to stop by and browse. Enjoy looking at our historical display area, antique hand organ, two pillar stones from old church and the key from the original building.
An air of tranquility exists here so that you can get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of the world. A couch and chairs are provided for your convenience.
We do accept donations both new and almost new books, CDs, and DVDs. If you have books to donate, stop by the library and pick up a donation form. If you are interested in serving God by volunteering in the library, please contact the church office at 864.877.1881.
The library is open every Sunday Morning and Wednesday Night.
