Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Here at Fairview, our desire is to "live on mission." Whether it is here in our backyard or to the corners of the earth, we exist to make disciples who spread the gospel to all the nations.

Greer Community Ministries

GCM is a faith-based organization with the mission to ensure that no one in the Greater Greer community is hungry, without adequate clothing, or socially isolated. We hope to earn the trust of our local community as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We have grown from 25 seniors receiving meals to over 87,000 meals delivered annually. Also, over 150 families are assisted through the Food Pantry and Sharon’s Clothing Closet each month. An average of 30 Senior Diners are brought to the ministry on weekdays to fellowship with others while participating in inspirational programs and learning about safety and fitness. They are also served a warm, nutritious meal.

Isaiah 117

When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their safety, they are usually brought to a child welfare services office to await placement. This wait can be a few hours to several days. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, and in dirty clothing. Isaiah 117 provides a comforting home where these children instead can be brought to wait – a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets. This space allows children to receive the comfort and care they need while child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good placement. The mission of Isaiah 117 House is threefold: reduce trauma for children awaiting placement, lighten the load for child welfare services and ease the transition for foster families

Awaken City Church

In February of 2017 the Duvall family moved to Herriman, UT where they were joined by four other families who also moved out to be a part of the church plant.  Driven by a passion to see the city of Herriman and the surrounding cities, come to experience the love of Jesus, they launched Awaken City Church on March 25, 2018. Awaken City Church desires to engage our community with the love of Christ in order to see lives forever changed by the good news of Jesus. We are partnering with Awaken City Church by praying for their ministry as they reach out to the lost in the city of Herriman and will be sending mission teams to come alongside of them in ministering to their community.

Christ Church Charlestown

We partner with JD Mangrum and his team at Christ Church Charlestown in one of the oldest areas in Boston. JD and his family went to Boston and launched Christ Church in 2018. We support Christ Church with mission teams, our prayers, and financially.  This area of Boston has needed an evangelical witness and strong church for a long time and Christ Church is using community events and an evangelical presence to bring the love of God to Charlestown. Pray for JD and his team as they become the hands and feet of Jesus to the lost. Learn more about Christ Church Charlestown and how you can better pray for them at the link below:
