Goodmorning and welcome to worship! A dirty little secret of Jerusalem is being uncovered. They were oppressing their own poor. They had no understanding of what it meant to be generous and kind to those in need. Jesus tells us that one of the results of the gospel in our lives is that we will care for the poor. We will be generous to others because God has been so generous to us.
