Nehemiah: A City on a Hill: Drifting and Course Correction

Mar 30, 2025    Rev. Brad Lynch

Nehemiah left Jerusalem for a little while and came back to find that the people had drifted away from where they were. They had fallen back into the actions that caused their destruction in the first place. Nehemiah meets this head on with some tough love and corrects their path. As we seek to be a city on a hill there will be times of drifting where correction is needed. Thankfully God has given us His Spirit, the Scriptures, and the church to correct us as we go. Being a city on a hill is a lifetime commitment. There will be time in all our lives when we need some course correction. Praise God that He is a loving Dad who protects and leads His children well.
